The NYPD is currently on the hunt for two Asian male suspects connected to a series of residential burglaries on Eighth Avenue in Brooklyn. In the latest incident, which occurred on October 2, the suspects allegedly broke into an apartment, rifled through the mailbox, and stole at least one package. The entire act was captured on surveillance footage, prompting the 72nd precinct to issue a wanted notice and request assistance from the public.

According to authorities at the 72nd precinct, these two suspects are likely to be repeat offenders, involved in multiple burglary cases in the area. On October 2, around 3:57 PM, two men—donning masks and hats—entered a six-story building located at 4102 Eighth Avenue. They took advantage of an empty lobby to pry open the mailbox, ultimately making off with several important pieces of mail and at least one package before fleeing the scene through the front door in an unknown direction. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident.

Police describe the first suspect as a man aged between 50 and 60, wearing a black baseball cap with “Flashpoint” written on it, a gray sweater, and gray sneakers. The second suspect, who acted as a lookout, appears to be in his 20s to 30s, wearing a black shirt saying “The Cure Boys Don’t Cry,” distressed blue jeans, flip-flops, and a pair of silver-rimmed black square glasses.

The police have released wanted images of both suspects and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
