On October 14, the 26th China International Software Expo held a press conference in Tianjin. Attendees learned that the expo is set to take place from October 24 to 26 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin).

This year’s expo will focus on the theme “Software Empowering Industrial Transformation and Intelligent Integration of the Digital and Physical,” featuring two major events: the opening ceremony and thematic summit, as well as a software innovation showcase and “Software Night” carnival. Additionally, the event will include a software achievements exhibition, the opening of the Tianjin Software Park, parallel forums, ecological salons, product launches, and supply-demand matchmaking activities, all aimed at enhancing its reputation through five key aspects: authority, policy orientation, innovation, trend leadership, and diversity.

One of the highlights of this year’s expo is the 15,000 square meter software achievements exhibition, which has attracted 206 participating companies—about a 25% increase from last year. The exhibition will feature a Tianjin software showcase area, along with delegation exhibitions from Hong Kong, Jilin, Hangzhou, Zhuhai, Ningbo, Dalian, Shaanxi, and Fuzhou. Notable experts, leaders from top software companies, and industry professionals from both domestic and international arenas will gather to provide authoritative and professional insights. The event will also present several impactful industry research reports, including the “Industrial Software Development White Paper,” the “Belt and Road National Software Industry Development Index Report,” and the “2024 Top 100 Software and Information Technology Services Companies,” aimed at promoting deep integration among academia, research, and industry.

Moreover, this year’s expo is innovatively hosting the software innovation showcase and “Software Night” carnival at the TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park. Attendees can expect a festive atmosphere with drone performances, a fireworks display, networking sessions, and cultural performances. The event will pioneer a hundred ecological salon sessions at popular Tianjin landmarks, such as the Haihe River cruise, Five Avenues, Minyuan, and Smart Mountain, providing software professionals with opportunities for idea exchange and resource networking.

The China International Software Expo is recognized as the largest, longest-running, and most influential professional event in the country’s software and information technology service sector, having successfully held 25 editions to date. The event is organized by the China Electronics Information Industry Group and hosted by Tianjin Smart City Research Institute Co., Ltd.
