China will provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Lebanon, Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds
During a routine press conference on October 8, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning answered questions regarding China’s recent decision to provide urgent humanitarian medical assistance to Lebanon.
When prompted about the situation, Mao Ning remarked, “China is closely monitoring the escalating tensions between Lebanon and Israel. In response to a request from the Lebanese government, our government has decided to offer emergency humanitarian medical supplies to support Lebanon’s medical relief efforts. The National International Development Cooperation Agency of China has already shared information on this initiative, and I encourage you to refer to it for further details.”
