On October 19, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu indicated that Israel’s success in the ongoing conflict was due to ignoring President Biden’s requests. Trump previously claimed that if he were to return to the White House, “Netanyahu would listen to me 100%,” emphasizing his desire to restore America’s influence and standing on the international stage.

On the same day, three drones from Lebanon targeted Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea, although neither he nor his wife was present at the time. One drone struck a building, while the other two were intercepted, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to the Jerusalem Post, during a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania that evening, Trump revealed that following the incident, Netanyahu reached out to convey that Israel’s current advantages stemmed from disregarding Biden’s requests. “He said it’s unbelievable; he wouldn’t take Biden’s advice because if he did, Israel wouldn’t be in this advantageous position now,” Trump relayed.

Trump further remarked, “Biden is telling Bibi not to do this or that, and Bibi isn’t listening to him at all.” He asserted, “I can tell you, Israel is in a much better situation now than it was three months ago.”

The Daily Mail confirmed that Netanyahu’s office acknowledged the phone call. This isn’t the first time Trump has expressed skepticism about Netanyahu’s compliance with Biden. Earlier, in an interview on the podcast “American Conservative,” Trump reiterated that Netanyahu wouldn’t heed Biden’s advice. When asked if Netanyahu would follow his guidance, Trump confidently stated, “Absolutely, Netanyahu would listen to me 100%.”
