On October 25th, during the vibrant fall season, the landscape of Anduo County in Nagqu, Tibet, is truly stunning. Nestled on either side of the Tangula Mountains, Anduo, which translates to “the end or the lower part” in Tibetan, boasts an average elevation of 5,200 meters, with the county seat sitting at approximately 4,800 meters above sea level. Notably, Anduo County serves as a crucial passage for both the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, earning its reputation as the “Northern Gateway” to Tibet.
